Your first visit typically takes 60 to 90 minutes and gives our team time to understand your dental history, evaluate your oral health, and discuss any concerns you may have.
After reviewing your health history, we’ll take any necessary digital X-rays and complete a comprehensive examination. Dr. Barney will explain his findings, answer your questions, and discuss any recommended treatment in clear, straightforward language.
Before any treatment is scheduled, you’ll receive a treatment plan that outlines the recommended care and estimated costs. This allows you to understand your options and know what to expect before moving forward.
Insurance and Payment
We are in-network with Cigna, GEHA, and Aetna. If you carry a different plan, we file claims and help with billing for all major insurance carriers. Before treatment begins, we review your coverage with you and walk you through your estimated costs so there are no surprises.
For patients without insurance, we accept cash, checks, all major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, CareCredit financing, and in-house payment plans for larger treatment.
